Easter Thursday @ Lindfield Rugby Club!!!
Get down to Lindfield Rugby Club this Thursday night where the beers will be flowing thick and fast and help break-in our beloved Clubhouse for the 2013 season. We’ll have the “blockbuster” between the Tigers and the Sea Eagles up on the big screen and with Friday being a public holiday, there’s no excuse for not getting amongst it.

This weekend we’re stepping it up a notch to take on Minskies rivals Mosman in the last trial matches of the 2013 pre-season. That means it’s your last chance to impress your prospective coaches before jerseys are named for round 1.

TRAINING TONIGHT – Tuesday 19th March
Great hit-out vs St Ives over the weekend lads, this weekend we have a tougher set of trials vs Mosman on SUNDAY. So make sure you get down to training tonight at Soldiers Memorial Oval for a 6:45pm kick-off and make it count.
Don’t forget the season launch party is this Friday Night… it’s going to be EPIC!!!

Bring your cash along and you’re guaranteed to pick up a bargain or prized piece of memorabilia (I think the last jersey Head Coach Rory Toemoe ever pulled on is in amongst it)

When? Saturday 9th March
What time? We’ll arrive at the hotel at 12pm, check in and then head to the ground. First game kicks off at 1:30pm.
How much? Accommodation is just $55 per person for the night.
Rules? No drinking is allowed at the hotel, needless to say we won’t be spending much time there (except for sleeping). After footy we’ll likely be hitting up the country club and league club and any other local watering holes…
(fine print) The Club has had to place a hefty bond for the weekend lads and our reputation is on the line, so behave yourselves in the hotel grounds and if anyone damages anything you’re gonna have to foot the bill yourselves.

After a HUGE turnout to training last night, we’ve decided to throw a free BBQ and cheap beers/softies after training on Thursday night. It’s going to be a big year for the Old Soldiers, so make sure you get down there, have a run around and stick around to have a sausage & a frothy one with ya mates…

BIG SHOUT OUT to Lindfield Rugby Club stalwart Dylan Connell and his lovely wife Karen who have been blessed with the birth of Imogen Grace Connell.
Imogen was born at 3:13pm on Wednesday 13th February and weighed in at 3.39kg and 49cm long. Everybody is fantastic!!!
