Round Twelve vs Newport

Posted on: July 4th, 2012 by president No Comments

This week the mighty Lindfield Rugby Club is taking on Newport up the beaches at Porter reserve, Newport.

Last weekend was a HUGE one for the Lindfield lads, with the Colties recording their first win of the season, 4th Grade posting an emphatic 6 try victory to place them in the top 4, and 1st Grade digging in deep to come away with the points yet again. 2nds were very unlucky coming away with an 11-11 all draw, and the 3rds had a tough task, going down on the day… The boys have their tails up and are looking for more big wins across the grades against Newport.

The sideline support contunes to impress in 2012, and once again the Lindfield lads are promosing some quality champagne running rugby for anyone who comes along…

Match details are as follows:

Where: Porter Reserve, Burke St, Newport

Time: Colts 10:45am

4th Grade 12:00pm

3rd Grade 12:55pm

Round Ten vs Balmain

Posted on: June 15th, 2012 by president No Comments

This weekend the mighty Lindfield Rugby Club will be taking on competition front-runners Balmain in a HUGE game at Soldiers Memorial Oval!

Knowing how tough it’s gonna be to knock-off the Old Soldiers, Balmain have called in ex-Wallabies Ryan Cross and Drew Mitchell to take the field. What Balmain clearly don’t know about the LRU is that we’re a bunch of mates playing for each other, we have a Bobby, the Millar Bros and a Teudty all ready to put their bodies on the line for each other, we don’t need no “big” names to get us over the line… Not to mention we have the largest and most vocal crowds behind us every single week.

It’s going to be one of the BIGGEST DAY’S OF THE YEAR at Tryon Rd, so make sure whether you’re a current player, former player, friend, family or foe, you come on down to Soldiers Memorial Oval and support the sky blue and white in the biggest game of 2012…

Where: Soldiers Memorial Oval, Tryon Rd, Lindfield

Time: Colts 10:45am

4th Grade 12:00pm
