Missing Social Co-ordinator

Posted on: February 13th, 2018 by president No Comments

This is an opportunity for a Social guru to jump on the committee and help the club out.

Working inside a highly stressful environment (the Kirribilli Hotel), you’ll be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Being the head of a sub committee that deals with the trials and tribulations of Ladies Day.

Open the doors of the clubby to let in the people to set up up the Poker Night.

Organise a bus to The Blue Mountains match, the Golf Day, and help out Presentation Night drink lists.

Minimum 0 years’ experience with any form of organisation required.
You’ll need the ability to design, deliver campaigns using a range of social mediums. Can you use Facebook? Yes. Good enough.

If this seems like your next internship, please get in touch at:

Brian “Buddy” Travers

The Lindfield community has lost a long term servant with the passing of Buddy Travers.

As senior First Grade coach Buddy steered the Club through the highly successful early 1980’s and was quick to answer a call to come back later in the decade when the Club was relegated in 1986.

Buddy was an uncompromising coach who often laced on a pair of boots to play in the lower grades. Fitness was a key doctrine and he regularly ran with the team especially on Tuesday night fitness sessions.

He will long be remembered by his catch cry “In the nose, out the mouth” and will be sadly missed by the many past players he helped through the years.

Details of the funeral are to follow.

Posted on: January 17th, 2018 by president No Comments

Good morning,

With the season about to start for 2018, we are still in need of some assistance in the Coaching Staff department.

We currently require four coaches (or assistants), with two of these being assigned to the Colts, one each to 3’s and 4’s.

If you feel you can assist in anyway, please get in touch with me, as preseason is now only a few weeks away.

Regards,
