Thursday’s General Meeting has now been postponed until further into the season.

Once we have confirmed the re-scheduled date, please make sure you make the effort to attend as it is vitally important that everyone who is a part of the club is aware of our current situation and where we want to be in the next few years.

This weekend the mighty Lindfield Rugby Club will be taking on competition front-runners Balmain in a HUGE game at Soldiers Memorial Oval!

Knowing how tough it’s gonna be to knock-off the Old Soldiers, Balmain have called in ex-Wallabies Ryan Cross and Drew Mitchell to take the field. What Balmain clearly don’t know about the LRU is that we’re a bunch of mates playing for each other, we have a Bobby, the Millar Bros and a Teudty all ready to put their bodies on the line for each other, we don’t need no “big” names to get us over the line… Not to mention we have the largest and most vocal crowds behind us every single week.

It’s going to be one of the BIGGEST DAY’S OF THE YEAR at Tryon Rd, so make sure whether you’re a current player, former player, friend, family or foe, you come on down to Soldiers Memorial Oval and support the sky blue and white in the biggest game of 2012…

We’re finally back at Home again this weekend Lindfieldites, and we’ve got another BIG round vs Oatley.

We played some reallygood wet weather footy last weekend against Forest and were unlucky not to come away with more wins than we did. It’s the last match of the first round, and what better way to hit round 2 than with some big wins against Oatley.

It’s a HUGE day for the Lindfield fans too, as we host “Meet the Parents & Partners Day”. A high tea will be put on throughout the day for all player parents and partners, and it’s a great chance to thank your biggest fans for all the work they do for you on and off the field… So make sure you bring them all along!

The Subbies Rugby competition manager & Subbies food critics will also be in attendance so it’s a great chance to show the community what Lindfield Rugby is all about.

The OLD SOLDIERS continue their march towards Subbies glory this weekend, taking on former 1st Div rivals Forest in what promises to be one of the contests of the year…

Anyone who was present at the club back in 2010 will know that there is absolutely no love lost between the mighty Lindfield Rugby Club and Forest Rugby Club, and who could forget the day we knocked them back to 2nd Div with their tails between their legs. Nothing’s changed since then and we’ve got a HUGE chance again this Saturday to do it all again.

As per usual the Lindfield fellas are promising another exciting day full of running rugby, and 1st Grade are looking sensational, going for their 5th consecutive victory, so make sure you come down to Melwood Oval (Forestville) and once again witness what Lindfield Rugby is all about…
