TRAINING TONIGHT IS OFF FOR ALL GRADES… EXCEPT 1ST GRADE (you’re training at Willoughby Leisure Centre)
Enjoy the night off lads and be ready to hit it hard on Thursday.
It was a tough day at the office on Saturday vs Balmain, but the Old Soldier keeps on marching and with our first home game of the year this Saturday vs Petersham, let’s get stuck in.

Round 1 kicks off this Saturday versus Balmain. The squads have been working hard all pre-season, so whether you’re a player, fan, friend or rugby fanatic, make sure you get down to Blackmore Park on Saturday and watch the sky blue and whites play some champagne rugby…

TRAINING TONIGHT HAS BEEN MOVED TO WAKEHURST RUGBY PARK!!!
The lights at Soldiers Memorial Oval are still out of action after a rough Easter weekend so training tonight (Thurs 12th April) has been moved to Wakehurst Rugby park, Forest Way, Belrose (where we played St Ives in the trials). Kick-off is 7pm a sper usual.
It’s the last run around before we take on Balmain in round 1 on the weekend, so make sure you all make the effort to get down there tonight. Spread the word…

Training tonight is on at Old Soldiers Memorial Oval, Tryon Rd, Lindfield. 7pm kick-off…
First game of 2012 is on this weekend vs Balmain. It’s going to be a huge day of running rugby on Saturday, so make sure you all make the effort to get down to training tonight and put in the hard yards to ensure we get off to a great start on Saturday…

Kicking off the festivities at 5:30pm on Saturday night, we’ll be gathering at Cabana Bar to watch the Waratahs Vs Chiefs game. Formalities will commence post a Tahs win* with the announcement of all teams for round one of the competition Vs Balmain.
Make sure you see Big City Kez when you arrive to grab a wrist band which will entitle you to discounted beverages and meals.
Everyone is welcome and the more the merrier, so make sure you spread the word to all players, fans, friends, foes, wives, girlfriends, grand fathers, (you get the picture).
*Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a Waratahs win, but we sure as hell can guarantee a great night, look forward to seeing you all there…

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN OF LINDFIELD RUGBY CLUB…
This Saturday, 31st of March 2012, Lindfield Rugby Club will be making history, hosting it’s first ever LRU PROPTATHLON!!!
As part of the 2012 Rego Day, kicking off at Old Soldiers Memorial Oval, all LRU props are invited to join in the inaugral competition comprising of all skills essential to be a champion front rower… strength, speed, drop goals, and of course sculling. With cash and a prized pewter mug up for grabs it’s sure to make for some amusing entertainment…
The day will also consist of some internal trial matches as we strive to confirm final teams for round one vs Balmain. It’s also the last chance for any 2012 players who haven’t yet paid their subs to do so in order to redeem the early bird special and save $40!
There’ll be plenty of action for both player and spectator this Saturday so spread the good word of the LRU to one and to all and make your way down to Soldiers Memorial Oval, Tryon Rd, Lindfield this Saturday…
